Tarsiers under existential threat in Philippines

The tarsier, one of the smallest primates in the world, weighs only 100 grams and can fit in the palm of your hand.

But environmentalists worry that the species, which is found only in southeast Asian islands, including the Philippines, could soon face extinction because of increased tourism.

As part of Al Jazeera's series looking at the impact of humans on animal territory, Marga Ortigas travelled to the island province of Bohol in the Philippines.
