Taliban fighters firing automatic weapons and rocket-propelled grenades have launched attacks in the diplomatic district of the Afghan capital, Kabul.
Seven people have been killed.
The first attack struck close to both the US embassy and NATO headquarters.
Minutes later, two suicide bombers struck in the west of the city.
