President Obama called on Republican Mitt Romney to release his latest tax return.

Romney has released his 2010 tax return but not his 2011 returns.

Campaigning with running mate Paul Ryan in New Hampshire, Romney fired back.

"It seems that the first victim of an Obama campaign is the truth."
He said Democrats are focusing on his taxes because they don't want to address concerns about the economy. He also accused the White House of misrepresenting his party's tax plans.

"We're not going to raise taxes that slows down growth and kills jobs. We're going to get this economy going and Mr. President stop saying something that is not the truth."
The Obama campaign has said that Romney's calls to cut taxes on capital gains would shift the burden to middle-income Americans.
