Congress President and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi said that the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre made a number of historic legislations for the welfare of the people and development of the country. Sonia Gandhi listed the schemes like NREGA, Bharat Nirman, NRHM, JNURM as examples. The congress President also said that for the welfare of Ex-servicemen a separate department has been set up by the UPA govt.
