All eyes were on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's country chateau in the south of France on Friday (August 10) as rumors of a possible weekend wedding between the Hollywood power couple spread round the world.
Journalists and tourists were outside the gates of the 17th century residence, although local officials said they had no knowledge of any impending nuptials.
Security was tight at the 60 million dollar chateau, but no frantic preparations were visible.
Since Pitt and Jolie announced their engagement earlier this year, there have been rumors on an almost weekly basis that the wedding could be approaching. However, at the Cannes Film Festival in May, Pitt denied the pair had set a wedding date.
