A town with nothing left to lose in Syria.
Anadan stands just outside of Aleppo. It has been the site of heavy bombardment of Syrian forces.
Buildings stands in ruins. Citizens who have stayed on learn to live without water and electricity.
A shopkeeper points to what he once had.
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) RESIDENT AND SHOP OWNER SAYING:

In Aleppo, government forces assaulted rebel strongholds in one of their biggest ground attacks to date.
In Anadan little is left but memories.
