Stealing company property: HALF of all workers say they've done it

A survey conducted by a human resources company found one out of two Taiwanese office workers believe they are entitled to take company property home. The most common items pilfered from the office include stationery such as pens and printer paper. Toilet paper, and food and beverages in the refrigerator also have high theft rates.

The survey polled 1,039 Taiwanese office workers. Even though most of us do not think taking a pen or a tea bag home is a big deal, doing so could lead to an embezzlement charge, lawyers say.
