Recent months have seen massive flooding across North Korea, hitting the already impoverished country hard.
State media reports that at least 169 people have died, while over 400 are still reported as missing.
More than 200,000 are now homeless, while 60,000 hectares of farmland have been washed away.
Video from the state-run KCNA news agency that cannot be verified by Reuters shows Red Cross workers testing local water for contamination on Tuesday.
They were also distributing aid.

North Korea's agriculture industry is vulnerable to floods and drought conditions due to widespread deforestation.
Its political isolation and international sanctions mean food shortages and poverty are also prevalent.
