Michael Phelps has won his 19th medal in the 2012 London Olympic Games. Nineteen medals make phelps the only olympian in history to accomplish such a feat.

Michael Phelps' 19th medal came in the 4X200 freestyle, leading him to officially beat Larisa Latynina who holds 18 medals in women's gymnastics.

Phelps still has a chance to set the record even higher as he still has races remaining in the London 2012 Summer Olympics. If you do try to watch his upcoming races don't tune in too early or the surprise maybe ruined.

For those who did miss the races, good luck finding recaps. NBC's tight control over olympics footage makes it nearly impossible for anyone to see the races they missed.
