The Maharashtra ATS and bomb detection squad defused an explosive device in a polythene bag strapped to a bicycle outside a McDonald's outlet on the bustling Deccan gymkhana road. Another explosive device was defused shortly after on the same stretch of the road. A crisis was averted, but not before it left its mark on one of Pune’s busiest arterial roads.
