She reportedly switched labels from cheap items and placed the low priced sticker on high ticket toys. The woman would typically purchase Lego kits for less than $10, when the purchase price was actually over a $100. Police state that for 18 months, she visited 3 to 4 stores a day and sold her illegal purchases on eBay. Law enforcement officials claim that the lady would sometimes make $30,000 per month from the scheme and she now faces felony charges along with a possible deportation to her native Chile.
