SOUNDBITE: Richard Hammond, From North London saying:
"Well she's a game old bird, really, isn't she? Yeah, I guess so, for an 86-year-old, I suppose it gives the impression that she's a got-get-it, but I'm sure her grandchildren put her up to it, I'm sure."
Her fans include London's Mayor Boris Johnson.
SOUNDBITE: LONDON MAYOR, BORIS JOHNSON, SAYING:
"But, I'll tell you what she was - she was also thrilled to have been given her first film role and she was very excited. She was very keen to know whether people had been amused by it and I thought they were. I thought it was very, very funny."
Despite gamely appearing in the film, both the Queen and Craig left it to stuntpeople to play them parachuting into arena.
The monarch spent the day after her film debut touring the Olympic grounds.
