Tens of thousands of people have marched against Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh's government, in a bid to force him to stick by a pledge to step down from office.
Security forces fired live ammunition and water cannons at protesters during the march on Saturday, killing at least 12 and injuring dozens more.
