Israel's settlement spending under scrutiny

Protests against high prices and social inequality in Israel are entering their third week.

With Israel's social justice movement looking at ways to reduce government spending and the cost of living, settlement spending in the occupied West Bank is now coming under scrutiny.

In a tented city in Tel Aviv, the leaders of the social justice movement have yet to issue specific demands from the government, but the expense of maintaining the West Bank settlements is being discussed.

Al Jazeera's Paul Brennan reports from Tel Aviv.
