Ratko Mladic, a Bosnian Serb general during the Balkans War, has been captured and produced before a judge in Belgrade, in what is the first step of a process that will see him face charges for international war crimes, including the killing of 8,000 Muslim men and boys in the Bosnian town of Srebrenica in 1995.

Families of those killed or beaten in Bosnia-Herzegovina have been reacting to the news.

Al Jazeera's Rory Challands reports.
