Thousands of migrants have fled unrest in North Africa for Europe, with most of them undertaking a perilous boat journey across the Mediterranean to Italy.
Once there, many were hoping to be able to make it to France, where they have relatives.
The authorities, however, have been denying them access without the proper papers.
Al Jazeera's Casey Kauffman accompanies two such Tunisian migrants as they dodge border patrols to slip into Paris, and what they hope will be a new life.
