Drug firms cut prices to aid developing nations

A number of leading drug firms have announced plans to cut prices dramatically for life-saving drugs in the developing world.

UK-based Glaxo Smithkline, says it will slash the cost of its Rotarix vaccine by 67% - it will now cost $5 to immunise a child against rotavirus, a leading cause of diarrhoea.

Al Jazeera spoke to Paul Cook, the head of advocacy at Tearfund.
