Fighting has flared in Cote d'Ivoire's main city, Abidjan, with separate clashes reported from near a military base and the presidential palace.
The latest round of violence comes after a hotel used by Alassane Ouattara, the internationally recognised president of the country, was attecked by forces loyal to his rival, Laurent Gbagbo.
