William Hague, the British foreign minister, has been delivering his weekly update to the British parliament. In it, he says that the British government is so far prepared only to supply the Libyan opposition with "non-lethal" equipment.

He also said that Moussa Koussa, the former Libyan foreign minister, will not be considered immune from prosecution and has not been offered any sort of deal.
