In their first press conference since a revolt began on February 14, the Libyan regime's secretary general and deputy commander of the air force said that reports of air strikes against civilians were false.
They singled out Qatar, Al Jazeera's host country, for spreading "lies" and hiring Egyptian and Libyan "sheikhs" with "high salaries" to foment the unrest.
