China and Pakistan are set to sign billions of dollars worth of trade and business deals in a bid to boost military and political ties.
The deals come on the second day of a visit by Wen Jiabao, China's prime minister, to Islamabad, Pakistan's capital, for a trip aimed at boosting relations between the two countries.
Some analysts say growing ties between the US and India - Pakistan's neighbouring rival - are pushing Islamabad to forge closer ties with China.
