Thousands of people have fled to neighbouring Thailand in a bid to escape grinding poverty and extremely harsh life under Myanmar's repressive military rule.
Now many of them are being picked up and told they will be deported back to Myanmar.
But the journey they are forced to embark upon has an unexpected, and often tragic, end.
