The museum is at 6, place des Vosges in the Marais quarter of Paris. Admission is five euros. The sculpture near the end of this clip is by Rodin. The museum shows artwork, sculptures, books, writings, theatrical works, furnishings, possessions, rooms have been brought from elsewhere and recreated here, there are photos, prints, installations, et c. This is a charming, famous, centrally located area of Paris and is well served by public transportation (such as the métro line 1, to "Saint-Paul"). Much of Paris is closed on Sundays but Le Marais is still often open. There are museums, galleries, parks, old architecture, a gay and Jewish presence, shops, restaurants, hotels, music, and more. To stay in a hotel here or rent a furnished flat here is costly but could be worth it. I am available as a private guide. Even on a tight budget, Le Marais has plenty to offer, and parts of it are lively, other parts wonderfully quiet. The River Seine is nearby and this part of Paris, in particular, has almost everything to please.
