We are so excited at la Terrine. Arte Italica has come out with a brand new color in their Merletto Collection, it is a white lace now. And actually at la Terrine we are exclusive to the color and the collection within the country. It is more of a stark white, so it's really, really beautiful great bridal collection.
Merletto comes from the meaning of lace in Italian which is great when you hear about the collection as to why it is. They lay an Italian lace into the ceramic which is what gives it its look. And they do this prior to glazing the item which they glaze over a black clay, which gives it the great undertones that it has.
It comes in white now and an antique color is kind of a creamy white, an aqua, a sage, a mocha, and a metallic grime. And they also offer a scalloped edge as well as a lacy edge, so it's nice to mix the lacy and the scalloped and they also do that in all the colors as well. So again it's just very multifunctional. You can get really different looks from each place setting to the next or you can be very universal with it as well.
It is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe so it's beautiful for everyday use but can also be dressed up a little bit with the right table accessories if you are doing a holiday or if you are going to be having a dinner party.
