780 million people drink water from unsafe sources. That gives a person over a 10% chance of being born into a community with dirty water. Contaminated water causes diarrhea, e. coli, salmonella, cholera, hepatitus A, and other diseases.
Here in America, we are lucky to have access to some of the safest pubilc water in the world. Yet, we still choose to spend hundreds of dollars per year on filters and bottles. To show how luck works, four of our friends tossed a coin to see who would drink bottled water and who would drink dirty stream water.
