La statue n'est que dans environ 8M/25 »de l'eau et les mains tendues sont-environ 3 M/15 'de la surface. Il est situé près des roches sèches, environ six miles à l'est-nord-est de la Coupe de Key Largo, dans le John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park Etat.
Il s'agit d'une copie de "Il Cristo Degli Abssi," situé dans la mer Méditerranée, près de Gênes, en Italie. La statue originale a été coulé par l'artiste Guido Galletti, et a été modelée italienne Mercanet nageur / plongeur Duillo. Il a été placé en 1954.

This is a copy of "Il Cristo Degli Abssi," located in the Mediterranean Sea, near Genoa, Italy. The original statue was cast by the artist Guido Galletti, and was modeled after Italian Mercanet swimmer / diver Duillo. He was placed in 1954.
In 1961, scuba diving entrepreneur Egidi Cressi Italian commanded the second casting of the original mold, and he donated to the Underwater Society of America.
