Therefore he vas mysteriously spared althought he was obviously in love of Anne and not the others, proof her trial was a comedy, a conspiracy against her and her faction instigated by Cromwell and the king wishing to regain favor with Spain at a time when Charles V his powerfull rival have decided to ally with France, (the position was very dangerous for him, alone against 2 enormous forces gathered ..
