More than a thousand mostly amateur dancers took over the British capital's landmark Trafalgar Square on Saturday for the Big Dance 2012.
The event is one of many cultural activities planned to coincide with the 2012 Olympics in London. Participants were picked to perform a coordinated routine with a renowned British choreographer.
