French carmaker Peugeot Citroen has announced 8,000 job cuts and the closure of an assembly plant outside Paris as it struggles with mounting losses.
Europe's second largest carmaker says the Aulnay plant, which employs 3,000 workers, will halt production in 2014 as part of a reorganisation.
