The central German state of Th?ringen, once part of communist East Germany, is prospering. In 2011, it posted stronger economic growth than almost anywhere else in Germany. With an increase of 3.4 percent, Th?ringen is just behind the prosperous southwestern states of Baden-W?rttemberg and Saarland. Every year more businesses move to the state, and job prospects are excellent.
