Tripoli is still at loggerheads with the International Criminal Court over where Muammar Gaddafi's son should stand trial.
Saif al-Islam was arrested by Libyan authorities in November after the uprising that swept his father from power.
Now he is wanted by the International Criminal Court for crimes allegedly committed during that uprising but Libya says he should be tried at home.
