There's only a few things we know about the Alien prequel, and even those we're not exactly 100% on. Sure, Ridley is set to direct, and yes, it looks like it's going to be in 3D (in the dark, how's that going to work?) and maybe it'll come in a set of two prequels.
We're also informed that Cowboys And Aliens writer and Lost kingpin Damon Lindelof will be carrying out scribbling duties, and thanks to an extensive MTV interview with Sir Ridley we know it looks to be set 30 years before the Nostromo, and will be based around the 'Space Jockey' figure on LV-426.
Which begs the question... what does Ripley think about all this? Obviously she's not going to be an actual part of the film (or films) but we've also been told that it will have a female lead, as you'd expect from an Alien film.
Here's what she had to say on the topic when we caught up for a few minutes during Comic-Con, where she was doing her press duties for another Alien-based number, Paul.
