The Soyuz space capsule touches down for a safe landing in southern Kazakhstan on Sunday.

The three crew members of Expedition 31 landed right on schedule at 0814 GMT without incident.

The crew - representing Russia's Roscosmos, NASA and the European Space Agency - had spent 193 days aboard the International Space Station.

After touch down, the three men were pulled one by one from the capsule and carried to waiting lawn chairs, where they received brief medical checks.
