Mexico's Obrador rallies supporters

Thousands of Mexicans turn out for a rally in Toluca, just days before the presidential elections.

They're here to voice their support for this man - presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador of the Leftist PRD.

Most polls show him to be at least 10 points behind front-runner Pena Nieto, but Obrador said his rival was corrupt and accused his party of planning to buy votes.

"What is it that we're voting for on the first of July? We are choosing if we want corruption or if we want honesty. Things are that clear."

With Obrador's hopes of winning fading, some fear a repeat of the chaos of 2006 that followed his narrow defeat to Felipe Calderon.

Six years ago Obrador's accusations of voter fraud led to massive protests that brought parts of Mexico City to a standstill for weeks.
