Taking to the streets in Tel Aviv over social justice.

Scores of Israeli demonstrators clash with police when a protest against the arrest of a social reform activist spins out of control.

Police officers arrested 85 people.

The demonstrators enter a bank.

A grassroots protest movement launched last July as a cluster of student tent-squatters demanding lower living costs is beginning to spread into other parts of the country.

The rallies have led Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to form a panel which has recommended raising welfare spending and lowering defense expenditures. Activists say the reforms have not gone far enough.
