Air Force plane crashes in Indonesia

An Indonesian air force Fokker 27 turboprop, with seven people on board, crashed into houses in a suburb of the capital Jakarta on Thursday (June 21) during a training flight.

At least eight houses were set on fire, Indonesian authorities said.

Kyodo News Agency is reporting that the Indonesian Defence Force said six people were killed -- three crew members, and three people on the ground.

The plane crashed at 2.45 p.m. local time (0645 GMT), according to local media.
