District 11 RCMP had to block off the Trans Canada Highway 2 around 10am this morning, heading west bound at mile marker 440 just before the Salisbury Big Stop for this accident for almost a hour, one lane was reopned at 11am. Salisbury Fire Dept responded to the call and had to use the jaws of life to get the person out of the vehicle. Traffic was backed up for over 5km's during the accident. Road conditions were dry at time of the accident. Video aired on CTV news.
