Egyptians are expressing little sympathy as news spreads that ousted President Hosni Mubarak has been moved from his prison to a Cairo military hospital after a health crisis.
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) EGYPTIAN, ALI MOHAMED ALI, SAYING:
"Mubarak is no longer in our hearts. He has no value to us anymore. We need to focus on the present and future. What's been done is done but may God fix his situation."
Private television station al-Hayat broadcast video on Wednesday it said showed Mubarak arriving at the hospital overnight.
Senior officers and military sources gave various accounts of Mubarak's condition, including that he was in a coma and on life support.
But they said he was not "clinically dead," as was briefly reported by state news.
The news comes amid tensions over the country's recent presidential elections.
The Muslim Brotherhood's candidate Mohamed Morsy and his opponent, former Mubarak ally Ahmed Shafik, have both claimed a win in the run-off vote according to their own tallies.
Mubarak is serving a life sentence for his role in the killings of demonstrators during last year's revolution.
