Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone hit the red carpet in London on Monday for the premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man.

Garfield takes on the role of the superhero, while Emma plays his love interest.

The duo have great onscreen chemistry and there's also been speculation they're dating in real life too.

However this is not a subject either like talking about.

When asked if it was tricky working with his GF Andrew responded

SOUNDBITE: Andrew Garfield, actor, saying (English):

"Who's my girlfriend?"

Right. And Emma was equally tight lipped, unwilling to budge when asked to compare who the better boyfriend was:

No joy there then.

What we do know for sure is they do get it on in the movie - which focuses on Peter Parker's quest to understand the disappearance of his parents.

It's director Marc Webb's Spider-Man debut.

SOUNDBITE: Marc Webb, director, saying (English):

"The movie starts up very small and intimate and we spent a lot of time developing those characters so you understand all the nuance of them, and then gradually as the movie expands so does the 3D and so does Peter's world and so there's a dimension that the 3D helps provide. I wanted to make us feel like we were flying through the air with Peter Parker and 3D was a way to generate as close to a physiological response as you could in the cinema experience."

Action packed, Andrew was willing to talk about Spidey's stunts, explaining how many he did himself:

SOUNDBITE: Andrew Garfield, actor, saying (English):

"60-70 percent and then the really hard stuff the professionals do and make me look brilliant."

The Amazing Spider-Man will swing onto the big screen on July 3rd.
