At 10pm tonight there was a fire at 381 Gaspe Street in Dieppe. Firemen got the fire under control very fast , and as they were clearing the house they started bringing out many pets from the residence. The Firemen were giving the animals mouth to mouth and a neighbour was going to transport the animals to a Riverview Vet. There were 2 dogs and 3 cats in the home. People that own the house were away and the fire started because of a chair that was placed to close to a electric baseboard heater. It was reported in the newspaper today (12/01/08 that 2 dogs and 1 cat were saved.
