Spring is officially here, 2010 Pollett River Run today & Mud Bog at the end of the run. Pollett River Run has been going on for more then 25 years in Elgin New Brunswick. Hundreds of people line the banks all along the river , at the bridges and of course the fun at the end. Many RCMP were on hand this year , setting up road blocks on the Sanatorium road at both ends, including off road vehicles too. The run that starts at the Elgin Community Hall for a pancake breakfast takes about 4 hours to complete, the river was low this year , making it more difficult to navigate. Huge party that starts in the morning and goes all night.
