Just after 8 PM a RCMP Officer noticed a girl stuck in the mud in behind the RCMP station . Moncton Fire and a Ambulance was dispatched , plus a few other Officers responded as they thought the girl was in trouble . Turns out the girls were just playing around in the muddy banks of the Petticodiac River from the Riverview side . One of the Officers even drove down to talk to the girls that were looking across the River to see what all the fuss was about . How safe can it be to play in the mud , this right by the sewage treatment plant and also down river from the leakage of the old city dump???
