Just after 7:15 AM a 2 vehicle collision on Mapleton road at the entrance to Day & Ross. A woman was transported to hospital with unknown injuries. I spoke to the driver of the van and he told me that he had just started into the intersection on a green light when the vehicle hit him, it seemed she was trying to miss the van he said. He also said she apoligized for the accident a couple of times. Codiac RCMP and Moncton Fire were on scene. A officer was directing traffic as 2 lanes were tied up for almost 45 minutes. 1 tow truck was needed. Another company van arrived so they could switch stock and the employee could carry on with his work day. Road conditions were slippery in spots , roads were salted and wet. First thing the driver of the van asked me was . Are you the "Newschaser" and that he watches my videos all the time!
