Moncton Firefighters were kept busy this morning with many calls for trees on wires and transformer fires, this one on Beaverbrook just before 9 A.M. for 3 transformers that were on fire, the wires burnt off and no danger of fire. Road sign down on Melville and a tree broke in a yard on Purdy Ave. A van blows through a stop sign that public works set up because the traffic lights are all still out from Plaza Blvd to MacBeath in uptown Moncton.
