Moncton Firefighters respond to Steadman Street just after 4:30 P.M. this afternoon for smoke behind a building. When arriving people in the neighbourhood were telling Firefighters it was on the next Street over on Lewis, you could see smoke at Lewis and St. George at one point but it was because of the wind blowing smoke from a area by a garage where a small fire was easily put out by firefighters. Smoke smelled like rubber was burning. Fire Prevention Officer was needed to attend.
