A multi vehicle accident on Elmwood Drive just before 3 P.M. this afternoon sent 2 people to Hospital. Male in his 60's and a woman in her 80's , air bags were deployed in the woman's vehicle . Moncton Firefighters had 2 of the 4 lanes blocked and were putting absorbal on the pavement for fluids that leaked from the vehicles, Codiac R.C.M.P. were dealing with traffic in front of the new Sobeys and talking to witnesses. Traffic was being rerouted onto Keenan Drive around the crash scene. Road conditions were dry at the time of the collision and at least 3 tow trucks were needed.
