Russians protest Putin's return to the Kremlin

Tens of thousands of Russians have flooded into Moscow for the first mass protest against President Vladimir Putin, since he returned to the top job in May.
 
The country is marking Russia Day, a national holiday.
 
Numbers appear to have swelled well beyond a 50 thousand limit, despite a series of raids on the homes of protest leaders.
