Human Rights Watch is expected to release a scathing report on the treatment of migrant labourers in the Gulf state of Qatar.
Many migrant workers, mostly from India and south Asian countries, have made allegations of physical abuse and non-payment of salaries by their Qatari employers, who are reportedly not held accountable by local authorities.
The mounting accusations have prompted Indian politicians in to seek a comprehensive reform of their country's laws to protect migrant workers.
