An Italian man, his Dutch wife and their 18-month old daughter have been killed in a gas explosion in Conversano, in the south of Italy.
They had arrived for their holidays just two days before, after the man's father bought the flat for his son and wife for their trips to Italy. The blast also swept through a neighbouring house. 10 other people were injured in the explosion.
