More than 20,000 people planning to immigrate to the US have had to change their plans due to a technical glitch in the US state department system.
They received promise saying their applications had been accepted after entering a green card lottery draw run by the US state department last year.
But, a technical glitch invalidated these results later on the website, and led the visa offers to be withdrawn.
Thirty-six people offered false promise by the US department are suing the US government.
